JACKSON, Miss. - The Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference (MACCC) and NJCAA Region 23 men's and women's soccer tournaments kick off today, as teams representing the MACCC North and MACCC South vie for postseason brass. The opening round of the tournament, hosted by Holmes, will take place at Freedom Ridge Park and the school's Ridgeland campus.

Game 1, 11 a.m.: Women’s semifinal, N1 Holmes (White) vs. Pearl River/Itawamba winner (Dark) 

Game 2, 1:30 p.m.: Women’s semifinal, S1 Jones (White) vs. Northwest/Meridian winner (Dark)
Freedom Ridge Park
Game 3, 4 p.m.: Men’s semifinal, N1 Itawamba (White) vs. Gulf Coast/Northwest winner (Dark)
Game 4, 6:30 p.m.: Men’s semifinal, S1 Pearl River (White) vs. Hinds/Jones winner (Dark)

Sunday, November 7

The Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference (MACCC)  is one of the premier community college conferences in the country and ranks among the elite in the nation in terms of alumni on professional sports teams. 

Current championship competition offered by the league includes competition for men in baseball, basketball, football, golf, soccer and tennis.
