Volleyball - Offense
Lila Willett, Pearl River Community College
(Fr, OH - Chelsea, Ala., 12)
Lila Willett (Chelsea, Ala.) finished with 40 kills across a pair of matches for the Pearl River volleyball team.
Volleyball - Defense
Chloe Carr, Itawamba Community College
(FR, DS/L - Flora, MS, 11)
Freshman DS/L Chloe Carr (Flora, MS) had one of her best weeks on the collegiate level. She recorded 69 digs, 69 receptions with only 7 errors along with 2 service aces to help the Indians go 2-3 on the week, including a win over No. 23 Walters State in the Wallace Fall Bash. She had 16 digs in the win.
Women's Soccer - Offense
Caroline Perkins, Northwest Mississippi Community College
(Fr, F - Oxford, Miss. , 15)
Perkins was unstoppable in the opening game of the week against East Mississippi, scoring five goals on five shots on goal, including scoring three straight in six minutes of the second half of the teams win for a six minute hat trick. She also added an assist in the match for 11 points. Her five goals was the first time that has been accomplished since 2022. She added another goal in the teams win over Hinds on the road.
Women's Soccer - Goalkeeper
Annabelle Holman, Itawamba Community College
(SO, GK - Amory, MS, 30)
Sophomore Annabelle Holman (Amory) had a pair of impressive performances in net for the Lady Indians against pair of Top 10 programs. In the Lady Indians' 3-0 loss at No. 3 Holmes, she recorded an impressive 17 saves. In a 0-0 draw with No. 9 Jones, she add 6 saves to help her squad earn the first conference point of the season.
Men's Soccer - Offense
Trey Roche, Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College
(Fr, FWD - Pass Christian, 7)
Trey Roche, a freshman forward from Pass Christian, had two goals and an assist in a 1-1 week for No. 14 Gulf Coast. He had a goal and set up another in a 6-0 win over Meridian, and one score in a 2-1 loss at No. 13 Pearl River.
Men's Soccer - Goalkeeper
Cameron Kent, Pearl River Community College
(R-So, GK - Brandon, Miss., 38)
Cameron Kent (Brandon) was elite for Pearl River men's soccer last week, making nine saves and allowing just two goals. He picked up two wins between the posts.
Football - Offense
Chase Richardson, Holmes Community College
(Sophomore, QB - Winona, 3)
Richardson finished Thursday's game 31-of-47 for 413 yards and three touchdowns (85, 56, 58 yards). He also had 18 carries for 80 yards and a touchdown.
Football - Defense
Keoni Denny, East Central Community College
(RS-SO, LB - Riverview, Florida, 1)
East Central linebacker Keoni Denny delivered a dominant performance in the Warriors? 37-27 comeback win at Pearl River, anchoring a defense that shut out the Wildcats over the final 20 minutes. Denny posted a game-high 16 total tackles (11 solo), consistently cleaning up plays at the second level. He added a tackle for loss, a forced fumble, and a fumble recovery, directly contributing to multiple momentum swings in the game. His physical presence set the tone for East Central?s defense after a shaky first quarter, helping the Warriors erase a 20-0 deficit. Beyond the stat sheet, Denny?s leadership and relentless motor stabilized the unit and fueled the Warriors? resilience in a pivotal road conference win. His ability to both stop the run and force turnovers makes him one of the most impactful defenders in the MACCC this week. Denny?s all-around effort ? highlighted by his high tackle total and key takeaways ? makes him a deserving candidate for Defensive Player of the Week.
Football - Special Teams
Eli Burciaga, Itawamba Community College
(SO, K - Corinth, MS, 82)
Sophomore kick Eli Burciaga (Corinth) had another big week to help the Indians pick up a 34-24 win over No. 12 East Mississippi. Burciaga was 2-for-2 on field goals with kicks of 28 and 48 yards, the 48-yard attempt gave ICC a 20-17 lead in the start of the fourth quarter. He was 4-for-4 on PATs in the win, accounting for 10 of the Indians' 34 points on the night.
