Women's Basketball
Tootie Lockett, Itawamba Community College
(SO, G - Starkville, MS, 2)
Sophomore guard Tootie Lockett finished with 18 points and 10 rebounds in the Lady Indians' 71-44 win over Co-Lin in the quarterfinals of the NJCAA Region 23 Tournament.
Men's Basketball
Daveon Henry, Hinds Community College
(So, G - Yazoo City, MS, 0)
Henry delivered when the Bulldogs needed him most, stepping up with dominant performances as Hinds' season was on the line. In the Region 23 Tournament, he scored 19 points in the opening round against Holmes before erupting for a season-high 43 points in an overtime victory over MGCCC in Perkinston.
Softball Pitcher
Ramsey Montgomery, Itawamba Community College
(SO, P - Mantachie, MS, 14)
Ramsey Montgomery worked all 12 innings and allowed four hits, struck out a modern-day program-record 19 and battled through five walks, setting a modern-day record for innings pitched in the No. 12 Indians' 1-0 walk-off win over No. 20 Gulf Coast.
Softball Player
Brelie Phillips, Copiah-Lincoln Community College
(So., INF - Conehatta, Mississippi, 11)
Brelie Phillips had another big week for the Lady Wolves as they went a perfect 4-0. The sophomore from Conehatta collected at least one hit in every game this week and started her week with three home runs (two in game two), three RBIs, and three walks in the sweep of the No. 4 LSU-Eunice Lady Bengals. She then finished her week with one home run (on the second pitch of game one), one double, one triple, and five RBIs in the Lady Wolves sweep of Coahoma. For the week, Phillips had a .500 batting average with four home runs, one double, one triple, eight RBIs, three walks, and one stolen base along with a .600 on-base percentage, and a 1.750 slugging percentage.
Baseball Pitcher
Wes White, Copiah-Lincoln Community College
(R-Fr., RHP - Flowood, Mississippi, 18)
Wes White was dominant for the Wolves in his lone appearance on the mound. The redshirt-freshman from Flowood pitched a complete game and got a win against No. 25 Gulf Coast while holding the Bulldogs to just two hits and one earned run in the outing. White also had 11 strikeouts, a new single-game high, and finished with a 1.29 era
Baseball Position
Hank Eaton, Northeast Mississippi Community College
(Sophomore, P - Corinth, Miss., 4)
Hank Eaton batted .429 last week with a .579 on-base percentage after receiving five free passes between HBPs and walks. He had four extra base hits, including two home runs, with seven runs scored and nine RBIs. He also earned a win on the mound.

The Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference (MACCC) is one of the premier community college conferences in the country and ranks among the elite in the nation in terms of alumni on professional sports teams.
Current championship competition offered by the league includes competition for men in baseball, basketball, football, golf, soccer and tennis.
