Jae'la Smith, Pearl River Community College

Jae'la Smith (Vicksburg; Porter's Chapel) averaged 17 points, eight rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.5 steals across a pair of Region 23 Tournament games.
Men's Basketball
Damarion Winston, Itawamba Community College
(SO, G - Yazoo City, MS, 2)
Sophomore Damarion Winston (Yazoo City, MS) left it all on the floor in his final two games as an Indian. The guard averaged 34 points a game, scoring 32 in a win over Hinds in the Region 23 semifinals and 36 in an overtime loss to Jones in the championship game.
Softball Pitcher
Ramsey Montgomery, Itawamba Community College
(SO, P - Mantachie, MS, 14)
Sophomore Ramsey Montgomery (Mantachie) continued impress in the circle for the No. 10 Indians. She pitch 3.2 innings of relief duty in the Indains' 6-1 win over Mississippi Delta, she gave up an unearned run on two hits while striking out 10 of 14 batters faced with 0 walks. Montgomery closed out the week with a complete game shutout in a 4-0 win at Meridian after giving up 2 hits with 14 strikeouts and 2 walks.
Softball Player
Ayari VanBlaircom, Copiah-Lincoln Community College
(Fr., INF - Daphne, Alabama, 33)
Ayari VanBlaircom had a huge week for the Lady Wolves as they went a perfect 4-0. The freshman from Daphne, Alabama had at least two hits and two RBIs in every game this week and started it with a 4-for-5 performance with one double and four RBIs in the sweep of Meridian. She then finished her week going 5-for-6 with one double, one triple, two home runs (one in each game) and eight RBIs in the sweep of Mississippi Delta. For the week she wen 9-for-11 at the plate with two doubles, one triple, and two home-runs with 12 RBIs and eight runs scored while posting a .818 batting average with a .750 on-base percentage and a 1.727 slugging percentage.
Baseball Pitcher
Drew Harrison, Pearl River Community College
(So, RHP - Madison, Miss., 3)
Drew Harrison (Madison; Germantown) threw a five-inning no-hitter against Southwest, allowing just two base runners on a walk and an error. He struck out seven batters in the contest to help the Wildcats win 10-0.
Baseball Position
Jaxon Cripps, Holmes Community College
(Freshman, SS - Hurley, 9)
Cripps had a big week for the Bulldogs. He hit two homeruns in the 8-2 win over Gulf Coast Saturday.
