Ann Elise Duncan (McComb; Brookhaven Academy) threw 13 scoreless innings on the way to a 2-0 week for Pearl River. She struck out 14 against just five walks. She scattered seven hits.

Shania Fondren, Pearl River Community College
(Fr, INF - Batesville, Miss., 6)
Shania Fondren (Batesville; South Panola) hit .462 (6-for-13) with two doubles, two home runs and eight RBIs across four games for PRCC last week. Fondren paces the MACCC in home runs (23) and RBIs (63).

Evan Hilliard, East Mississippi Community College
(So., P - Saraland, AL, 2)
EMCC's Evan Hilliard threw a no-hitter during the Lions' 10-0 run-rule home win over Hinds to complete their road doubleheader sweep against the Eagles. The sophomore right-hander was masterful on the mound as he faced just two batters over the minimum while making efficient use of 63 total pitches with 41 strikes. Hilliard retired the first 11 hitters he faced before walking back-to-back batters in the fourth inning. The Saraland, Ala. native got a force out at third to escape the inning and then proceeded to retire the Eagles in order over the final two frames. While inducing nine groundouts and six flyouts, Hilliard struck out three batters during his dominant complete-game victory to improve to 5-1 on the year.

Jacob Driver, Meridian Community College
(FR, INF/RHP - Marbury, AL, 27)
Freshman Jacob Driver had his best week at the plate and helped the Eagles go 3-1 for the week. The Marbury, AL native started the week hitting 3 home runs against 4th ranked Jones, two of them going over 450 feet in a run-rule game one victory. He followed up that performance with his 4th home run of the week and a double against Mississippi Delta. For the week Driver averaged .583 with 4 home runs, a double, 9 RBI's, 9 runs and a stolen base.
